What We Brought Home | PEARL® Reflections After KBIS

Some of the most important takeaways don’t come from what you see. They come from what stays with you.
After walking KBIS and spending time immersed in the broader kitchen and bath conversation, one theme rose above the rest. The future of the home is not about perfection. It is about liveability.
Across the show, spaces felt warmer and more expressive. We were drawn to layered greens and soft pinks, intricate tile, stone, and quartz, paired with warm woods and richer tones. There is a clear shift away from sterile, all-white interiors. Homes are becoming more personal, more inviting, and more reflective of the people who live in them.
Liveability emerged as the true point of distinction. Jaye Anna Mize, VP of Advisory and Partnerships at Future Snoops, shared insights that resonated deeply. Hosting is more frequent and more informal. Spaces are expected to flex and support real life. While the market remains challenging, those investing in their homes are looking for value that shows up in everyday use.
This is where PEARL® feels deeply aligned.
We are not driven by luxury for the sake of the luxury label. KBIS helped clarify the growing divide between luxury and liveability, and reinforced where we stand. Our purpose is to create spaces that encourage genuine human connection.
Walking the show also created space for meaningful conversations around procurement, leading to new relationships product categories that will directly support our Projects department and the customers we help fulfill. These connections matter. They shape what happens behind the scenes, strengthen the foundation behind our work, and help ensure we continue to deliver thoughtful, reliable solutions. Staying close to the people and partners shaping the market allows us to respond proactively.
The ideas and perspectives we gathered will continue to inform how we think about product development, partnerships, and how we support our dealer and design communities. It is all part of the same commitment. Showing up with intention. Staying curious. And building a world where people feel truly connected.
